Burundi Muninya Hill Kayanza



I’ve had some trouble with the Burundi Muninya Hill Kayanza from IKAWA.
The in app roasting profile left me with a unpleasant taste for grass…, is it the same for you guys??

Here is my take on a dark roast that keeps the sweetness and rounds of with a hint of grapefruit.

It works great with aero-press, Chemex and french-press.

I found the same grassiness in the Burundi profile (see my separate post on how I’ve addressed it so far). I’m going to try your profile next. From what I could see, your approach is similar in that you steepened the early part of the roast. You also extended the development time by almost 1m which would make it darker.
